Sex in Advertising
Social commentary on advertising campaigns, that spread a misogynistic message.
Time and time again, we are bombarded with advertisements that objectify women, and use them as a serving dish to sell their goods. The purpose behind this series is to challenge the trend of misogyny in advertising. In order to truly juxtapose the sex and almost pornographic nature of these images we contrasted real advertisements with average every-day males. On the left you’ll see the original ads, and on the right you will find our recreation of the ad.
