The Brand Team at Twitch took on redesigning the Data Science team's website, to breathe some life into a stale and cold website. Below is one of my favorite versions, I created before the project was canceled.
The old Data Science Team site was very cold and uninviting. The content itself didn't invite visitors to dive deeper into the site or want to join the team.
Reflect the diverse background and interests of the team.
Embrace the team culture.
Build a site that doesn't need constant updating.
Serve as a recruiting tool.
The intent of each div was to illustrate how data scientists have to sift through loads of seemingly random data points in order to create a cohesive story and strategy for the rest of the business.
